About

Charity United Methodist Church is nestled in the beautiful city of Virginia Beach, VA.  Our church is one of the early Methodist Churches in Virginia located in city of PUNGO known for its famous strawberry festival.   Over the 228 year history, Charity UMC has remained a vibrant Christian community that believes in making disciples for the transformation of the world.  Our congregation has a healthy balance of children, youth, families and retired saints who have shown us how to love God and one another.  Click our Ministries page and you will discover how active we are both within and outside the church.

Strategy

We live out our mission, vision, and values as a congregation of people who:

Invite people to experience the love of God and become disciples of Jesus       Christ.

Equip disciples to be agents of God's reconciling love in the world.

Care for one another in Christian community.

Send disciples as servants of Christ to participate in God's transformation of the world.
